Alex Hender (Canada) Montreal born native Alex Hender started his career in the mid 90’s. After watching one of his friend djing at a high school dance party, he decided to buy a pair of turntables, a mixer and began shopping some records. It’s in a record shop, at the age of 15, that he discovered the sound of New York and Chicago's House. Alex has been a resident in some of Montreal’s most famous clubs. The legendary Limelight was his first home. He also played at Red-Lite, Gravity and a lot of other gigs around the city. Being a buyer for years in a record shop, Alex got in touch and upfront with “What’s hot" & "What’s the next big thing”. His musical style got a lot of influence from the Funky Chicago stuff and the Dirty German minimal tech sound.
Since then, aside from djing and collecting an amazing amount of vinyls, Alex focuses more into production, to reach another step in his career.
We can only expect greater things to come from him in the future.
